Last Thursday, we started our Childbirth Preperation class. This week we get to watch "the" video. Lucky for us, we've seen The Business of Being Born. We know what to expect, and more. (Very interesting documentary, by the way. It is the reason that I am now hoping to having a epidural-free birth. Key Word: Hoping.)
Our next Dr's appointment is tomorrow. It's going to be a long one - they're testing me for Gestational Diabetes. While I am showing no symptoms, it's a routine test that everyone has to go through. I am not looking forward to it; partly because of the nasty (or so I've heard) drink I'll have to chug down, but mostly because of having my blood drawn. I survived the last round though, I suppose I'll be ok.
This past weekend, we bought the wainscoting for the nursery. We hope to put that up in a couple of weeks. The crib is out of the box, but we're going to wait until after the wainscoting is up to assemble it. We should be receiving the bedding Thursday evening; I can't wait to see it in person!!!
We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday! It's gonna be a very crazy weekend, but totally worth it.
