A few weeks ago, some friends of ours asked if anyone would be interested in joining their volleyball team. I thought it would be a good idea, you know, a fun way to get a good work out and be with friends... so I talked a very reluctant Dave into joining.
Well, tonight is our first game. Having not played volleyball since high school (gasp! probably 10 years, oooh no!), it's going to be very funny. (I would like to add, that we aren't the only ones that haven't played in the last decade...)
So, as laughable as the games will be, wish us luck; hopefully I'll be able to post pictures sometime of us making fools of ourselves.
Should be fun...
***UPDATE*** In case you were wondering the outcome of last nights games...
We played 3 games. The first game was down right funny. The second game we actually won! (yay, us!!), and the third game was ours until the power-server took over (he wasn't even a member of their team! he was just filling in because only 3 of their members showed up! Totally not fair if you ask me)... The bruises on my arm are proof of our admirable effort last night.
Good times...
